Description
Gorgeous light green culms (poles) topped with fine leaves. The Willowy (Bambusa multiplex cv Willowy) bamboo gets its name from the delicate weeping form with pendulous tops. Makes an excellent living screen, and suitable for hedging.
Regarded as a hedging variety – the size depends on it’s growing/soil/watering conditions, but typically can be grown and trimmed in heights from 1-4m. Likes a well draining soil – and trim it back regularly to refresh.
Variety of pot sizes are available.

- Position – Sunny exposed to rough terrain.
- Great bamboo for hedging enthusiasts to create round / square shapes.
- Grows 3-4m, though is typically planted and hedged nicely 1-4m tall.
- note if planted in a container Willowy will grow smaller than listed (all bamboo will grow smaller into their pot size).
